HD54A candidate Derrick Lehrke earns endorsement of Republican Liberty Caucus of Minnesota

Lehrke has been endorsed by the Republican Liberty Caucus. The Republican Liberty Caucus supports candidates who will be advocates for fiscal responsibility, individual liberty, and reduced size in government.

Derrick Lehrke is seeking election to the Minnesota House of Representatives from district 54A which includes Cottage Grove, Newport, St. Paul Park, South St. Paul, and Grey Cloud Island.

In addition to Lehrke, opther non-incumbents endorsed by the Caucus are Steve Green, House District 2B; Michael Dudley, Senate District 20; Melissa Valeriano, House District 25B; Andrew Reinhardt, House District 36B; Pam Wolf, Senate District 37; Richard Bohnen, House District 50B; Pam Cunningham, House District 53A; and Anna Wills, House District 57B.

“The Board has been extremely pleased with the number of candidates running this year who recognize the need to return to the fundamentals of governing,” said Norann Dillon, State RLC Chair. “The individual is the seat of political power, not institutions and bureaucracies. When we reduce the size and scope of government, we return freedoms to the citizens.”
