Controlling spending is not a Democrat or Republican issue – it’s an American issue!

Our SD54 candidate Janis Quinlan writes…

Recently I was talking with a husband and wife who at first stated they were Democrats. After they started to ask me questions, and after I shared with them my message of getting spending under control and especially getting government out of the way and letting businesses expand, they agreed to encourage all of their friends to support me! Controlling spending is not a Democrat or Republican issue – it’s an American issue!

Hastings Rivertown Days button 2012

A note from Mike Fouts, Chair SD54 Republicans:

Hastings Rivertown Days is this weekend, and the Senate District 54 Republicans will be out and about over the weened. Come visit our booth in Jaycee Park.

We have several candidates who would welcome people to walk with them in the Rivertown Days parade on SUNDAY, July 22. The parade begins at 12:00, with most candidates lining up around 11:00 or 11:30. I have heard from Janis Quinlan, Denny McNamara (unit #15), and Kurt Bills (#41). John Kline will likely be there, too. You can contact each campaign or myself for further details on how to get involved.

The SD54 GOP booth will be set up in Jaycee Park, with staffing Saturday and Sunday during the day. If you would be able to work an hour or two shift, please let me know via FB message or email.

Other News:
Campaign HQ’s have been set up for John Kline, in Burnsville, and Kurt Bills, in Bloomington. Get your candidate swag there, or let me know what you would like and I will arrange getting it locally.

The Washingtn County Fair is looking for volunteers to staff the GOP booth throughout the 5 days of the Fair. It’s a great place to take the kids and spend an hour or two helping us out! Contact me for details or check: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0B45A9AA2EA31-washington

Thank you for your support!

Representative Denny McNamara (R) District 54B

Representative Denny McNamara (R) District 54B

Rep. Denny McNamara is looking forward to walking with volunteers, friends, and family in the Rivertown Days parade on Sunday (July 22, 2012). The parade starts at noon and Denny will be there around 11:30 or so.

The Denny McNamara float will be lining up on Ramsey Street between 11th Street & 12th Street. He is unit #15 in the parade. The best way to get there is by entering East 14th or 15th Street and then north on Ramsey rather than entering from 10th St.

Please contact Lynne at 651-437-2597 (or lmcnamara1976@gmail.com) if you are interested in walking in the parade with Denny. See you on Sunday!

Help Janis Quinlan hit her fundraising goal!

Janis Quinlan for Minnesota State Senate

Janis Quinlan

By Janis Quinlan Candidate for MN Senate District 54.

We have very busy with our campaign! One of our most recent activities was attending a North Metro Tea Party rally where I had the great pleasure of listening to Peter Vessenes speak – the founder of the American Citizens for Economic Freedom organization. Peter’s message aligned perfectly with one of the key tenets of my campaign – limiting government interference in our personal and economic feedoms.

I know this is also very important to you and for that reason I am asking for your support of a $50 individual contribution (or $100 per couple) to my campaign by July 23rd so we can qualify for the desperately needed government subsidy available to all candidates. We need 60 individual donations of $50 and we are very close to hitting that goal. However, I can’t do it without your support.

Please visit my website http://quinlanforsenate.com and click on “Donate to Campaign” in the top right corner or checks may be made out to “Quinlan for Senate” and can be mailed to the following address:

Thank you for your help and support!

Sincerely,
Janis Quinlan
